making ice cream

For reading room 12 had been working on Joy Cowley books we had a contract with all these tasks we had to do. W e also had some of her books we had to do the tasks around. On Friday 5th of March, when we had finished our contracts, room 12 made there way over to the hall for a fun day. We were going to make ice cream because that is what Joy Cowley does in "Seventy Kilometres from Ice Cream". We were going to use the kitchen in the hall, the flavours of ice cream we made were kiwi fruit ,strawberry, banana chocolate chip we made 2 chocolate chip ones.We made the ice cream in our reading groups, we have 4 reading groups, so two groups were making the ice cream and the other to groups played dodge ball, it was so much fun! When we finished making it we played toilet tag, that was so funny. We couldn't eat the ice cream  because it wasn't set yet. On Monday we got to eat it, it was so YUM! We also played dodge ball again.
